With 9 “book jokers”* saved up over the course of this year, any other book I finish that was on the original 2018 TBR Project pile will be a bonus.
Therefor, I declare the 2018 Mt. TBR Project completed, over, and done with.
Here’s to you, Mt. TBR …
* Physical books I read that are on my shelf but aren’t on the designated Mt. TBR Project pile.

Congratulations on conquest of Mt. TBR 2018’s summit and your safe return from it’s icy heights.

Thank you. It’s been fun but I’m glad this is over. At least for a year. 😉

Congrats! I am glad you did visual posts every couple of months. It turned your words into something I could see and your progress was easy to see too.
I hope you have just as much success with your tbr in 2019!

Thank you! I’m dithering on whether to do another Mt. TBR challenge in 2019. My first instinct was to declare 2019 a year of free-range reading, then go back to the MT. TBR business in 2020.
I liked the pictures, too, btw. They were a great motivation.

If you’re dithering, then I think your gut is telling you to go free range. And I’m a big believer in listening to your gut in regards to books 😉
Anytime any particular series of posts becomes a burden, it loses everything it was meant to be. I’m looking at several of the monthly posts I used to do and am having to think if I want to keep them going in ’19 or not.

That’s what I’m thinking too. A challenge should be a bit special and not something I do all the time.
And… Anything that makes a chore of reading and takes the fun out of it should be banned.

If I become World Book Czar in 2019, one of my first edicts will be to ban ALL un-fun book challenges 😉
