… the next time I have a spare couple of hours in Edinburgh, I’ll try and find this one at the National Library.
With a subtitle of “where spies spy on spies who spy on spies” this should be as hilariously bad as one of Fleming’s brother’s novels.
And how could I possibly resist having a chuckle at a TSTL spy adventure?

I do, too! … But I am not willing to spend £20 on it. 😂

I understand. I just looked it up. Even used paperbacks here are a small fortune. I was hoping for audio or even an ebook, but no.

I think this may be one of the books that the Fleming estate wishes had never been published.
Seems to be earlier than Ian’s first adventure, too. (I think this one is from 1951.)

I’m sure they want it buried. That’s all the more reason to make that skeleton in the closet dance!

Exactly! And part of me also can’t wait to put a reserve request to the National Library, that place of high learning and discerning culture, for a very bad pulp fiction novel…and then sniggering away in the reading room.
I know, … #nerdsrule
