It was. I had not seen one before. There were actually two of them perched on top of the light house, but one flew off just when I took the picture. Still just seeing them was worth paddling that kayak half-way around the island. I’m not a birder as such but I do like wildlife a lot.
(Apologies. I moved some older posts from BL to WP and a couple seem to have posted as new posts rather than older ones. I think the date is fixed now.)
